Grand Industrial Newsletter – November 2025

Rigging is at the heart of what Grand Industrial specializes in. With capabilities from setting small items in place with a simple forklift to placing large items into position that could require a tandem lift, this pairing of rigging & equipment moving are inter-related work that we do well. Having professionally trained personnel for a rigging project is instrumental in its success. Both skills and safety are always intertwined for our projects utilizing only NCCCO certified riggers and operators. Our rigging personnel undergo specialized third-party training to become certified riggers and heavy equipment operators.

In the photo above for a current project that will be completed by the end of the year for a 2026 start up, equipment such as two (2) cranes, an aerial boom lift, a telehandler forklift, and various rigging that will be paired with the designated crew to replace conveying equipment. The customer expressed “Our drag line conveyors are just not getting the job done for us. We need to move to the screw type conveyors for the work that we do. We need to change out quite a few of these while we have a scheduled shutdown and would also like to install a new stack on our scrubber while we are down for this work. Is this something that Grand Industrial can handle?” Our answer to this client was “absolutely! We can handle this entire project for you.” With provided drawings and specifications, our project managers assessed all equipment & labor needed to complete these tasks and kick off this project.
