Grand Industrial is looking for an assistant project manager for our Logansport, In. operation. Grand Industrial is a rapidly growing Indiana based contractor, and we are looking for an addition to the team. The project manager is responsible for all aspects from the initial meeting with clients, determining and documenting the scope of work, to delivering the final proposal and monitoring costs while the project proceeds. The ability to work in our fast paced environment while managing multiple projects is a must. The project manager will coordinate pricing with our self-performing disciplines as well as with sub-contractors and our vendors. The project foreman will execute the work in the field while the project manager will monitor costs coming in against the project estimates.
- Construction experience 5yrs (preferred)
- Project Management 3yrs (preferred)
- Valid driver’s with the ability to commercially insured required

- Understanding of billing and closeout procedures
- Proficient in excel and word computer software
- Knowledge of estimating programs such as Sage, Timberline, Toolbox
- Can work with a group or individually with minimal supervision
- Business development skill set
- Knowledge of construction materials and equipment
- Ability to read bid packages and blue prints
- Good understanding of cost variables
- Able to resolve disputes covering items proposed vs change orders
