Grand Industrial is seeking skilled, journeyman-level industrial carpenters for a current project in Leiters Ford, Indiana. While Leiters Ford is the immediate project location, our crews primarily support projects throughout Northern Indiana. We are looking for energetic, dependable individuals who are ready to work, take pride in their craftsmanship, and contribute to a safe, positive, team-oriented environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in concrete construction, steel beam erection, and exterior sheeting installation. Applicants must be able to work safely and independently while also collaborating effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other trades. Primary Responsibilities

• Industrial Construction and Installation
• Build, install, repair, and maintain industrial structures and fixtures.
• Work with concrete, structural steel, aluminum, wood, and other construction materials.
• Assist with steel beam construction and the installation of structural components.
• Install exterior metal sheeting, wall panels, roofing components, and related materials.
• Install foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, windows, doors, and other fixtures.
• Install trim, moldings, and finishing components as required.
• Perform demolition, repairs, and general maintenance of existing structures. Concrete and Formwork
• Build, erect, brace, and dismantle concrete forms.
• Plumb, level, align, and grade formwork accurately.
• Place embeds and assist with rigging and setting large forms.
• Assist with concrete placement, finishing, and related construction activities.
• Operate equipment and tools used during concrete construction when qualified. Blueprint Reading and Layout
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, specifications, and building plans.
• Lay out projects and determine the required dimensions, elevations, and materials.
• Measure, mark, cut, and arrange materials according to project plans and instructions.
• Perform basic calculations related to dimensions, materials, and load requirements. Tools and Material Handling
• Safely and effectively operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Use saws, drills, grinders, sanders, and other tools commonly used in industrial carpentry.
• Fasten materials using bolts, screws, nails, staples, anchors, and adhesives.
• Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the jobsite.
• Maintain personal tools and company-issued equipment in good working condition. Safety and Quality
• Follow all company, client, and jobsite safety policies and procedures.
• Comply with applicable building codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Inspect completed work for proper alignment, dimensions, level, and overall quality.
• Identify and correct problems using levels, framing squares, surveying equipment, and other measuring tools.
• Erect, use, and dismantle scaffolding when required.
• Work safely at elevated heights and from ladders, lifts, or scaffolding.
• Coordinate effectively with other trades and construction professionals. Qualifications
• Journeyman-level industrial carpentry experience required.
• Previous experience with concrete formwork and concrete construction strongly preferred.
• Experience with structural steel or steel beam construction preferred.
• Experience installing exterior metal sheeting or wall panels preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Must possess the hand tools necessary to perform the trade.
• Must be comfortable working at heights.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work in indoor and outdoor industrial environments.
• Must be available for weekend work as project schedules require.
• Must successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen.
