GRAND TRANSPORT ADDS HOOKLIFT TRUCK

We have added a new truck to help service our customers’ needs- a Hook Hoist Truck!

This truck has a 22′ long flat deck which can be used like a roll back truck to haul equipment. Only the deck lies completely flat on the ground for loading/ unloading procedures. The deck could also be dropped off and picked up the next day if a customer needs a lot of time to get a load situated.

We also converted over all of our dumpsters to be loaded with the hook hoist. We have 20, 30 and 40cy dumpsters for your use.

The hook hoist is much faster than roll off trucks, and the driver never has to leave the cab. We also spec’d this truck with an automatic transmission for ease of operation and safety. In addition, Grand Industrial custom fabricated two dump beds for it. These are equipped with air gates just like conventional trucks. Our advantage is that we can put two boxes on a site with only one truck needed. That way the truck is always on the road and moving- very efficient! Right now our rate for this truck is $95/hr. We do also have a tag trailer for it for added capacity and versatility.

The aspect of the truck that we are most proud of is that we bought it from one of our customers- Link Environmental. We are very happy to be able to return business to customers who do business with us.

We fabricate enclosures and platforms for Link at GI, and we do hauling and equipment setting for Link through GT. As you can see from the pictures, Link has provided us with a beautiful piece of equipment.
